Series of attacks in Amman in 2005

During the series of attacks in Amman on November 9, 2005, bomb attacks were carried out in three hotels in the Jordanian capital, Amman . 60 people were killed or fatally injured and 115 others injured in these attacks.

The hotels were affected:

  • Grand Hyatt Hotel
  • Radisson SAS Hotel
  • Days Inn.

The perpetrators came from the al-Qaeda organization in Iraq led by Abū Musʿab az-Zarqāwī . The assassin Sajida al-Rishawi was executed in 2015.
