Connected load

Power consumption , also connected load , the maximum power supplied by a utility company at the respective connection point and underlying the design of the installation in the supply of electric energy , gas or district heating .

Devices are also marked with their connection value.

In the case of electrical energy, the connected load is usually determined as apparent power ; in the case of devices for conversion into thermal energy, it is more as real power .
