Anshelle is a Swiss pop band from Bern .
biography
Anshelle released the first album Part of the Game in 2002 as a production team .
After a complete restructuring in 2006, the group of musicians, now conceived as a band, released the second album Rewind Please (2007), with the assistance of co-producer Gert Stäuble ( Züri West ), and reached number 74 on the Swiss album charts. Anshelle was named Swiss Top Band of the Month September 07 and won the Toronto Exclusive Magazine Award 07 in the categories "Best International Pop Song" (Rewind Please) and "Best International Pop Band". In February 2008 the band was on a Northern Ireland promotional tour of the third single I'm Alright .
In 2009 the band released the album Betty's Garden , which was produced with the help of Steve Lyon and Gert Stäuble. The album reached number 31 on the Swiss album charts and the singles Crossroads and Secret Garden were released in the same year. In 2010 the EP Good Days was released with 2 remixes by Monsieur Morphologue and the producer team DICK & klein as well as two remixes of the songs Crossroads (Beatblaster S. Remix) and Slighly Underdressed (DICK & klein) plus a special version of the song Little Mountain . At the end of 2010 the band again received the Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards for "Best International Rock Album".
After a break in 2011, the band recorded their fourth studio album All In on their own. The album was mixed in Los Angeles by Rob Chiarelli of Final Mix and mastered in London by Dick Beetham of 360 Mastering. The first single I Can See Your Beauty was released on January 28, 2012 with the accompanying video clip. The video clip for I Can See Your Beauty was made by the international filmmaker and animation artist Cristian Guerreschi. On their club and festival tour 2012/2013, the band played the following concerts, among others: Hehre Open Air, Mühle Hunziken , Hotel Murten etc.
In 2013 the first unplugged album Unplugged Sessions was released , which contains 7 acoustic versions of songs from the albums Rewind Please , Bettys Garden and All In and was recorded and produced by the band on their own.
In May 2014 the band released the radio single Already Gone including the accompanying video. Already Gone is an international co-production with the Californian songwriters Nate and Kaelie Highfield and the gold-winning producer Sky van Hoff (Mrs. Greenbird, X Factor Germany). In August 2014, the fifth studio album Blink of an Eye was released . The radio single Already Gone and other songs from the album made it into the playlists of national and private Swiss radio stations. The song was also chosen as a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest 2014 .
The seventh studio album VII by the Bernese pop band was released on October 20, 2017. The first radio single Boomerang was released on September 15, 2017 and reached the Top 100 in the Swiss airplay charts.
