Katzenberg residence
According to Grabherr, the former Katzenberg residence was located in the Katzenberg district of the Upper Austrian municipality of Mettmach in the Ried im Innkreis district. It is known about the residence that it was the seat of Andree von Schwarzenstein in 1503. Today it has become the rural property Katzenberg 2. Next to the farm there is a Lady Chapel ( ⊙ ) with a neo-Gothic altar design
However, the assumption of a seat at this location arose through the erroneous interpretation of a document. The documentary mentions from 1503 ("the seat Katzenberg of Andree von Schwarzenstein") refers to Schloss Katzenberg in the municipality of Kirchdorf am Inn .
