Places of interest nearby

Near the small town of Antón are the beaches of Playa Santa Clara and Playa Farrallón, which can be reached by bus in about 30 minutes. In addition, the Antóns district is home to the “Valle de Antón” - one of Panama's three volcanoes . There you can marvel at a large wooded crater in which a village has now formed. The climate there is far more pleasant than in the rest of Panama - this is probably the reason why some Americans have settled there with large houses. The nature there is unique - you can, for example, see the famous “golden frogs” that are only found there. Furthermore, there is a small market to marvel at every day in the city center there, where you can browse in peace and buy souvenirs.
