Anthony Clark
Anthony Ian Clark (born November 1, 1977 in Derby ) is a former English badminton player .
Career
His first successes were winning the junior title in singles and doubles in England in 1996. In 1997 he won the Czech International , in 1998 the Austrian International . In 1999 he won the EBU Circuit both in doubles and mixed. In the same year he was also successful in doubles at the French Open . At the 2004 Olympics he was stopped in the round of 16. In 2006 he was in the finals of the Badminton World Championship in both mixed and doubles. Both times, however, it was only enough for silver.
At the 2007 World Cup he was in the quarterfinals in mixed, while he was eliminated in doubles with Robert James Blair in round 2.
In 2008 he and his partner Donna Kellogg won the mixed competition at the European Championships in Herning.
