Anthony Marwood
Anthony Marwood MBE (* 1979 in London ) is a British violinist .
Marwood made his debut in 1993 at the BBC graduation balls. In 2005 he took over the world premiere of Thomas Adès ' Violin Concerto in the Berlin Philharmonic .
Anthony Marwood works regularly as a soloist or conductor with the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and with other orchestras.
He has been Artistic Director of the Irish Chamber Orchestra (ICO) since the beginning of 2006 .
Marwood plays a Carlo Bergonzi violin from 1736.
