Anthony Young, Baron Young of Norwood Green
Anthony Ian Young, Baron Young of Norwood Green (born April 14, 1942 ) is a British politician ( Labor ).
He was Secretary General of the National Communications Union from 1989 to 1995 . He was also the director of the BBC . In 2004 he was promoted to Life Peer as Baron Young of Norwood Green , of Norwood Green in the London Borough of Ealing, and has been a member of the British House of Lords ever since . Since 2005 he has been Vice Chairman of the Israel Group . He has been a member of the Ministry of Education since 2008.
