Antibiotice is a 1955 founded Romanian pharmaceuticals - companies based in Valea Lupului , Iasi , where the production plant and research center are located. A total of around 150 different products from twelve therapeutic fields of human medicine as well as other products from the field of veterinary medicine are currently manufactured (as of May 2015) . As the second largest producer in the world, the company has been producing actinobacterium nystatin since 1997 . The other portfolio ranges from baby creams and silibinin preparations to chemotherapeutic agents .
