The judicial district Mattsee was a judicial district subordinate to the District Court Mattsee in the state of Salzburg . The judicial district existed until the end of May 1923 and included several communities in the north of the Salzburg-Umgebung district .

history

The judicial district Mattsee was created together with 22 other judicial districts in Salzburg by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally comprised the twelve tax communities Berndorf , Engerreich , Großeneck , Hof , Mattsee , Matzing , Obernberg , Obertrum , Schleedorf , Schönstraß , Seeham , Wallsperg .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868 onwards, the judicial district Mattsee together with the judicial districts Abtenau , Golling , Hallein , Oberndorf , Neumarkt , Salzburg and Sankt Gilgen formed the district of Salzburg-Umgebung , with the southern judicial districts as the end of the 19th century Hallein district were separated.

The judicial district Mattsee was dissolved on June 1, 1923 together with the judicial districts Golling and Lofer , whereby the judicial district Mattsee was divided between the judicial districts Neumarkt and Oberndorf. The communities Mattsee , Obertrum and Schleedorf were added to the judicial district of Neumarkt bei Salzburg and the communities of Berndorf and Seeham to the judicial district of Oberndorf.
