The judicial district of Radstadt was subordinate to the District Court of Radstadt in the state of Salzburg . The judicial district comprised the eastern part of the St. Johann im Pongau district .

history

The judicial district Radstadt was created together with 22 other judicial districts in Salzburg by a decree of the kk Oberlandesgericht Linz on July 4, 1850 and originally included the 23 tax communities Altenmarkt , Bayrau , Feuersang , Fitzmoos , Flachau , Forstau , Gasthof , Höch , Höggen , Lämmerthal , Lebenau , Mandling , Neuberg , Palfen , Radstadt , Flachau , St. Martin , Schattbach , Schwemberg , Sinnhub , Sonnberg , taxis and Unterthauern .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district together with the judicial districts Gastein , Sankt Johann im Pongau and Werfen formed the district of St. Johann im Pongau .

Through the amalgamation of municipalities, the number of municipalities in the Radstadt judicial district had already been reduced to nine by the 1930s. On January 1, 1936, the municipality of Sonnberg was merged with the municipality of Hüttau in the Werfen judicial district to form the municipality of Hüttau, with both parts of the municipality becoming part of the Radstadt judicial district at the beginning of 1936.

The “District Courts Ordinance Salzburg” passed in 2002 dissolved the judicial district of Radstadt and merged it with the judicial district of Sankt Johann im Pongau on January 1, 2005.
