history
In 1923 the Golling judicial district was dissolved and the communities assigned to the Hallein judicial district.
On January 1, 2003, the Abtenau judicial district (communities Abtenau , Annaberg-Lungötz and Rußbach am Pass Gschütt ) was closed and the communities were incorporated into the Hallein judicial district.
