Antidorus
Antidoros ( ancient Greek Ἀντίδωρος ) was a Greek potter, active around 540-530 BC. In Athens .
His signature can be found on the underside of the foot of two droop bowls , a form of the Kleinmeister bowl . Both come from Taranto and are now in Taranto, Museo Nazionale IG 4434 and IG 4435. They show pygmies fighting cranes, boar hunting and chariot races. An unsigned bowl in Würzburg, antique collection of the Martin von Wagner Museum L 414, can be linked to them in terms of motif and style . Antidoros is one of the minor masters .
