Antigua Sailing Week
The Antigua Sailing Week is a sailing regatta that has been held every year since 1967 at the end of April / beginning of May off the island of Antigua in the Caribbean.
The starting point for the regattas is the marina at Nelson's Dockyard . There are a total of five races from Saint John's , in which around 250 yachts compete in six classes every year. Every year around 1500 crew members and 5000 spectators travel to Antigua for the regatta. The regatta has made a name for itself in particular thanks to the many participating maxi yachts .
