Antiguo Oriente (Spanish for Ancient Orient ) is a specialist journal on the history of the societies of the Ancient Orient and the Eastern Mediterranean from the Paleolithic to Greco-Roman times. The magazine is published by the Centro de Estudios de Historia del Antiguo Oriente (CEHAO) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in Buenos Aires and appears annually.
Antiguo Oriente publishes articles and book reviews in Spanish, English and French.
