Antje Dertinger (* 1940 ) is a German writer .

Life

Antje Dertinger grew up in northern Germany and now lives in the Rhineland. She first worked as a daily newspaper and magazine editor before she concentrated on writing books. She is a member of the Association of German Writers and was one of the state chairmen in North Rhine-Westphalia from April 1998 to April 2002 and from May 2006 to September 2008 . In May 2009, together with other former VS state and district board members, she founded the association “Action independent Rhine-Ruhr authors e. V. "

Her main areas of work as a non-fiction author are the history of the workers' movement, the history of the resistance against National Socialism and the history of the Federal Republic based on portraits of women and biographies.
