NRW literature on the net
NRW Literatur im Netz is an Internet database made up of short biographies of people who lived or worked in North Rhine-Westphalia . The Westphalian Literature Office in Unna has been operating the largest database for literary work in North Rhine-Westphalia since 2001, which is continuously updated. In the database, authors from NRW are presented with detailed portraits as well as literary institutions and publishers.

There are currently more than 600 authors from North Rhine-Westphalia with bio-bibliographical data in the database. The writers are represented there with text samples of their works or offer press photos for download. Among other things, the database offers the search for authors, sorted by region, genre, gender or alphabetical order. In addition, information about publishers, libraries and literary institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia is offered in the Institutions section . criteria
The criterion for admission is that a person was born or died there or had a significant effect or lived there in the area of today's North Rhine-Westphalia. To do this, the person must have at least one independent fiction publication. The admission requirements of VS apply. Inclusion in the NRW database is free of charge for authors and institutions.
