Georg Feil

Georg Feil (born April 21, 1943 in Dorsten ) is a German film producer and author .

Life

After studying German, history, political science and communication studies (in Münster, Paris and Munich), Georg Feil received his doctorate in 1972 on "Contemporary History on German Television". He worked in communication research and was a lecturer at the University of Munich and the University of Television and Film Munich .

From 1966 Georg Feil was an author (among other things for the crime scene ) and producer at Bavaria Film , managed the series production and was its program director. In 1994 he founded the Colonia Media subsidiary in Cologne, which he left in view of the events surrounding Colonia Media during the ARD's 2006 surreptitious advertising affair. Georg Feil works as a freelance producer and teaches at the University of Television and Film Munich . In addition to his tasks in associations and scientific organizations such as the collecting society for film and television producers VFF and the advisory board of the Institute for Media and Communication Policy , he is co-editor of the series "Media Law, Media Production, Media Economics" and writes novels, short stories and non-fiction books. Feil is a member of the German Film Academy and project manager of the VFF Business Angel Scholarship . He lives near Munich.
