Dagmar Rosenbauer (producer)

Dagmar Rosenbauer (* 1956 in Butzbach , Hessen ) is a German film and television producer. She is the managing director of the Cinecentrum Berlin and Hamburg, a subsidiary of Studio Hamburg .

Life

From 1976 to 1982 Dagmar Rosenbauer studied theater, film and television studies, German literature and philosophy in Cologne with a master’s degree. From 1982 to 1990 she was an editor in the culture and science program at WDR . Subsequently, until 1992 she was an assistant to the WDR director Friedrich Nowottny . From 1992 to 1995 she worked as a producer at Regina Ziegler Filmproduktion in Berlin, before joining Multimedia Berlin in 1996 as managing director, which has been operating under the name Cinecentrum Berlin since January 2002. In 2015 Dagmar Rosenbauer took over the management of the Cinecentrum Hamburg. The Cinecentrum is a subsidiary of Studio Hamburg, which produces television films and series such as the successful ZDF series SOKO Wismar . Dagmar Rosenbauer is married to the former ORB manager Hansjürgen Rosenbauer and lives in Berlin.

The children's film Küss mich, Frosch , produced by Dagmar Rosenbauer, received the "Rockie Award" 2000 for best children's film at the Banff World Television Festival , Canada. Hartmut Schoen, the author and director and the leading actors of the film The Border Guard and the Girl won the European CIVIS Prize for Integration in Strasbourg in 2005. In 2012, Dagmar Rosenbauer, together with Gloria Burkert and Dominik Graf, received the German Entertainment Prize (DIVA) in the “Best Film” category for The Invisible Girl .
