Antje Frank

Antje Frank (born June 5, 1968 in Bartmannshagen ) is a former rower from the German Democratic Republic who won an Olympic bronze medal for Germany in 1992.

Antje Frank from SC Dynamo Berlin was third in the GDR championship in 1989 in the four-man team without a helmsman . In the following year, starting for SC Berlin , she won the GDR title in a four-man without together with Judith Zeidler , Jeannette Barth and Kathrin Haacker . At the last appearance of the GDR national rowing team at the 1990 World Cup in Tasmania, the four-man won the bronze medal behind the four-man from the Federal Republic of Germany.

In 1991 Antje Frank entered the world championship with eighth place and finished fifth. In the 1992 season she switched back to the foursome. At the 1992 Olympic Games , the boat took third place behind the boats from Canada and the USA.

In 1993 the four-man with Ina Justh won the German championship again for Annette Hohn .
