Antoine Marès

Antoine Marès (born December 8, 1950 ) is a French historian specializing in the contemporary history of Central Europe .

Life

Since 1977 he has been working at the Institut national des langues et civilizations orientales (INALCO). Between 1998 and 2001 he was director of the Center français de recherche en sciences sociales de Prague (CEFRES). Since 2004 he has been director of the Center d'Histoire de l'Europe centrale contemporaine at the Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne .
