Anton Ewald (2013)

Anton Kim Ewald (born August 7, 1993 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish dancer and singer. He became known through his two-fold participation in the Swedish pre- selection Melodifestivalen of the Eurovision Song Contest . He was elected to the finals both times but finished fourth in 2013.

Life

In 2013 Anton Ewald took part in the Melodifestivalen for the first time as a solo artist. Before that he was already on the stage of the Melodifestival, but as a background dancer. At the Melodifestivalen 2009 he danced behind Velvet when she competed with The Queen in the third semi-final in Leksand . At the Melodifestivalen 2012 he was a dancer and choreographer behind Danny Saucedo with the song Amazing . He also danced and choreographed Andreas Lundstedts Aldrig Aldrig in the same competition.

After his fourth place in the Melodifestivalen, Ewald released his debut single Begging , which made it to number 2 in the Swedish single charts. In May 2013 Ewald released his A EP , which contained four new songs. In June 2013, Ewald released the single Can't Hold Back , but it was not released in Sweden. In September 2013 Ewald's second EP A-Coustic was released , which contains the same songs from A acoustically re-recorded.

In 2014 Ewald took part in the Melodifestivalen again and was elected straight to the final. There he reached tenth place and the single Natural also reached the Swedish single charts. In June 2014 Ewald released On My Way , his third EP.

In 2015 Ewald changed his style. From now on he only publishes songs in Swedish, but he has not yet reached the charts with these.
