Anton Günther von Ellebrecht (1600–1681)

Anton Günther von Ellebrecht (born June 6, 1600 in Jever ; † 1681 ) was a German major general and chief of the Oldenburg National Infantry Regiment in the royal Danish service .

Life

Career

He was major in 1667 and, under Count Anton I von Aldenburg (1633–1681), Commander of Delmenhorst . On March 4, 1667 he signed a contract with which he sold the fortress to the Danish King Friedrich III. and Christin Albrecht Holstein-Gottorf - heirs of Anton's father Anton Günther von Oldenburg - handed over. In March 1671 he was with the troops in Oldenburg. On July 10, 1675 he was promoted to colonel and took over from Gustav Adolf von Baudissin's Oldenburg National Infantry Regiment on October 10 . When the regiment was disbanded shortly afterwards, von Ellebrecht received his farewell on December 11, 1676. He died in 1681.

He owned the goods Ellebrechtshausen (today Groß-Warfen) and Nörffeln (?) In East Friesland .

family

His parents were Conrad Eberhard Ellebrecht and his wife Helene Prolau from the Seefeldt family.

He was married to Anna Katharina Lemmecken († 1707), who was the daughter of the Hessian major general Lemmecken. His son Anton Günther von Ellebrecht (1652–1723) also became a Danish major general. His son Christian Conrad von Ellebrecht (1654-1731) became a Russian colonel and was married to Amalie Nostitz . His grandson Anton Günther von Ellebrecht (1684-1760) was a Danish major general. The daughter Anna Lukrecia married the captain Hermann von Degingk .
