Anton Haselmayer
Anton Haselmayer (born April 12, 1895 in Frankfurt am Main ; † 1962 ) was a Gauleiter of the NSDAP .
After graduating from high school, he began studying law and then became a journalist.
On April 1, 1925, he joined the NSDAP under membership number 36 and in the same year became Gauleiter in Gau Hessen and in Hessen-Nassau-Süd, which is divided from it . On September 22, 1926, he resigned for health reasons , although the reasons for his resignation are obviously not entirely clear. In 1928 he was deleted from the NSDAP's Reich index after he was not listed in a membership list. In 1930 and 1937 he tried in vain to be re-admitted to the NSDAP.
In 1936 he moved to Munich and practiced as a lawyer there. Nothing is known about his further fate.
