Anton Landvogt

Anton Landvogt (* 1758 in Haselstein ; † March 23, 1832 there ) was a German civil servant.

Landvogt was the son of the magistrate in the Oberamt Haselstein , Philipp Ignaz Landvogt . Fritz Landvogt was his brother. He married Barbara nee Dotter († 1806), the daughter of the magistrate in Herbstein and later in Weyhers . The marriage had eleven children, four of whom died as infants.

From 1768 he attended the Jesuit grammar school in Fulda and then studied in Fulda. From 1788 to 1817 he was his father's successor, the last governor in the Oberamt Haselstein before the Oberamt was dissolved. With the dissolution of the office he was put into retirement and received his previous annual salary (1346 florins), reduced by the payments for horse forage and for the maintenance of the actuary who was accepted into his household, so that he remained 1120 florins.
