Anton Noder

Anton Alfred Noder (born July 29, 1864 in Munich ; † May 7, 1936 ), with the stage name A. De Nora , was a doctor and poet .

Life

Anton Alfred Noder was born in Munich on July 29, 1864. Since his father worked as a country doctor in Swabian and Franconian country towns, he spent most of his youth in the country. He attended school in Kempten, Neuburg and Munich. From 1882 Noder studied medicine at the University of Munich, after receiving his doctorate as a Dr. med. In 1889 as a doctor in Türkheim, and from 1910 in Munich. As early as 1896 he published poems and novels, later novels. He also wrote the features section and was one of the main contributors to the magazine Jugend . Among his numerous short stories there are some in which he subtly illuminates the protagonist's motives for action with psychological skill, such as those of a murderer in 'The luring blood'. Many have a historical background. But he also wrote those with grotesque or satirical content. Noder is the author of several novels such as Giorgione , Die Täuscher and presented biographical memoirs in two volumes: Memories of a doctor and poet as well as Am Färbergraben , in which the magazine 'Jugend' and its employees are reported in detail.
