Anton Riederer

Anton Josef Riederer (born May 8, 1929 in Duisburg ; † March 21, 2004 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Anton Riederer graduated from elementary school and high school with the passing of the secondary school leaving certificate. After that he was a bricklayer retraining; He passed his skilled worker examination in 1948. In 1954 he passed the master craftsman examination. He then became a freelance engineer.

politics

Anton Riederer had been a member of the SPD since 1953. In 1954 he became chairman of the local association Alt-Hamborn / Obermarxloh . He held this position until 1980. Riederer served as deputy chairman of the Duisburg sub-district from 1966 to 1978 and from 1978 he was chairman of the sub-district. In 1946 he became a member of the construction, stone and earth industry union. He was a member of the City Council of Duisburg from 1964 to 1974.

From July 25, 1966 to December 31, 1983, Anton Riederer was a directly elected member of the 6th , 7th , 8th and 9th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 076 Duisburg V and constituency 070 Duisburg V.

Honors

On November 3, 1994, Riederer was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia .
