The Euratom Supply Agency ( ESA , English E primeval atom S upply A gency ) is an agency of the European Union , which contributes under the Euratom -Vertrages supplying the European Union with nuclear materials ( natural uranium , enriched uranium , plutonium and other) to ensure. Its statutory duties include gathering information and advising on the market for fissile material. Your goal is to monitor the market to ensure supply. The agency can also stockpile fissile material.

The agency began operating on June 1, 1960 and is based in Luxembourg . It is headed by a general manager. The underlying contract for the establishment of the European Atomic Energy Community was last developed by the Council resolution of February 12, 2008 on the statutes of the Euratom Supply Agency.
