EU-OSHA

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (abbr. EU-OSHA ) aims to make workplaces in the EU safer, healthier and more productive.

It was founded on July 18, 1994 by decision of the Council and has its seat in Bilbao , Spain .

The agency acts as an intermediary to collect and analyze information about safer workplaces and to disseminate it to employers. As an example, repeatedly carried out here would be European Company Survey on new and emerging risks (ESENER - European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks ) to name.

The agency is an EU organization made up of representatives from three groups: representatives of the governments of the Member States , employers and employees . In addition to providing information to employers, she also wants to advise companies on how better working conditions can be achieved in a simple and effective way.
