Anton Schütz (soccer player)

Anton Schütz (born October 25, 1927 in Cologne ; † November 20, 2007 there ) was a German football player .

The defender played four times in the Oberliga West for 1. FC Köln in the 1951/52 season . On October 28, 1951, the 9th matchday, against Alemannia Aachen , the then player- coach Hennes Weisweiler used him for the first time. The game was lost with 1: 4. At the end of the season, Schütz left the club with Weisweiler and moved to the Rheydter Spielverein , for which he was active until 1956.
