Anton Schlager

Anton Schlager (born June 16, 1921 in Sooß , † October 10, 1997 in Wallern an der Trattnach ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Schlager was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1962 to 1983 .

Schlager graduated from vocational school after compulsory school and then worked as a farmer. In addition, he was active as a farmer's union chairman of the Wallern community, worked as a councilor of the Chamber of Agriculture for Upper Austria and from 1974 was chairman of the social insurance institute for farmers of the Upper Austria regional office. He represented the ÖVP in the National Council between December 14, 1962 and May 18, 1983.
