Anton von der Goltz

Baron Anton Ferdinand Leopold von der Goltz (born November 4, 1828 in Kallen bei Fischhausen , † January 18, 1902 in Königsberg (Prussia) ) was a German manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .

origin

His parents were the royal Prussian lieutenant Freiherr Gottlieb Ferdinand von der Goltz (1792-1859) and his wife Caroline Charlotte von Goetzen (1807-1884). His father was Lord of the Manor on Kallen and Compehnen and an honorary knight of the Order of St. John .

Life

Anton was the owner of the manor on Kallen in the Fischhausen district , was a Prussian lieutenant and was allowed to use the title of baron from 1887.

From 1870 to 1873 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from April 24, 1876 to 1877 of the German Reichstag. As part of a by-election, he moved up for the MP Alfred Siegfried and represented the Conservative Party and the Reichstag constituency, administrative region Königsberg 4 (Fischhausen-Königsberg-Land) .

He married Freiin Eleonore Caroline Julie Antonie von der Goltz on November 30, 1853 in Königsberg (* August 24, 1834 - † May 8, 1912). The couple had several children:
