Antonio Cotrino Heras (born November 25, 1976 in Málaga ) is a former Spanish beach volleyball player .

Career

Cotrino Heras played in 2001 and 2002 alongside Olympian Javier Bosma internationally on the FIVB World Tour and the European CEV Tour. At the 2001 World Cup in Klagenfurt , Bosma / Cotrino Heras were group winners, but then lost in the first main round to the Americans Blanton / Fonoimoana . At the European Championships in Jesolo in 2001 and in Basel in 2002, the Spaniards were eliminated without a win. The best result on the World Tour was Cotrino Heras' fifth place at the 2002 Mallorca Open. A year later, the European Championships in Alanya ended for Cotrino Heras and his new partner Juan Claudio Garcia Thompson, despite an opening win against the Swiss Egger / Heyer, as bottom group in the preliminary round. Shortly afterwards, the Spaniards came in second in the group in the knockout round of the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro and lost to the Brazilians Fred / Brazão .
