Antonio Escribano
Antonio Giménez Escribano (born April 27, 1902 in Salamanca , † August 7, 1972 in Madrid ) was a Spanish lawyer and actor .
Escribano graduated from university with a law degree and practiced as a lawyer until 1958. Then he gave up his profession and went to Madrid to work as an actor. Within fifteen years he was seen in around 65 films in which he played important supporting roles as a distinguished nobleman and dubious scientist. He was also responsible for a script twice.
He was often referred to as Antonio Jiménez Escribano .
