Antonio Ibáñez de Alba

Antonio Ibáñez de Alba (born December 2, 1956 in Chiclana de la Frontera , Province of Cádiz ) is a Spanish engineer, researcher and scientist. He has researched a wide variety of topics and has registered a total of more than 200 patents, including an artificial palm tree that can create a good microclimate in the desert.

biography

Antonio Ibáñez de Alba worked in 1988 with RENFE (the Spanish Railway Company) on safety projects, braking systems and the prevention of frontal collisions in level crossings and tunnels. Between 1980 and 1990 he worked on a project to set up artificial palm trees in the deserts of Libya. The Libyan government invested around one billion dollars in this project. Almost 50,000 palm trees were built.

Between 1990 and 1992 he worked at NASA . In 1993 he carried out oceanographic studies and renewable energy projects at sea. He worked with the Higher Energy Council and General Electric. During these years he also worked on environmental issues with the government of Saudi Arabia.

Between 1995 and 1996 worked on the security of fingerprint recognition and electronic assistants for referee decisions. In 1999 he managed seawater desalination projects and the development of electric motors.

In 2002 he was Head of Research for the Marina D'Or Group. In 2006 he was part of the jury for program creation XXI, presented by Manuel Campo Vidal. In 2010 he presented his design to operate a power plant with the help of explosives.

In 2013 he was invited to the ISS by the Russian delegation . In the same year he introduced a system for transmitting images of brain waves. 2016 presented a tunnel for the high-speed train between Medina and Mecca. In 2017, he announced a system to protect lawns from flooding and heavy rainfall.
