Antonio Maher Lopes

Antonio Maher Lopes (battle name: Fatuk Mutin ) is an East Timorese politician. He is a member of the Partido Socialista de Timor (PST).

Political career

In the elections to the constituent assembly on August 30, 2001, Lopes stood in the Dili district as a PST candidate for the district representative, but received only 1,814, or 2.7% of the vote.

Lopes was Deputy Secretary General of the PST in 2001. On September 28, he was elected candidate for the 2017 presidential election at a meeting of the PST's expanded central committee . In the March 20th vote, Lopes received just 1.76% of the vote.
