Antonio Marín Muñoz (* 1970 in Lopera , Jaén ) is a Spanish writer .

He holds a law degree from the University of Granada . His first book The Civil War in Lopera and Porcuna (1936–1939) was published in 2001 and is already in its third edition.

His book The Siege of the Shrine of the Virgin de la Cabeza (1936–1937) deals with an episode from the Spanish Civil War.

His book The Reconstruction of the Province of Jaén under Franquism contains a study of the work carried out by the General Directorate of the Destroyed Areas of the Province of Jaén during the Franco regime (1939–1957). It describes in detail the reconstruction after the civil war.

In 2012 the Florida-based publishing house Portilla Foundation published the book The difficult years in Jaen , which describes the life of a Spaniard in the city of Jaen during the war.

In 2014 he published the novel A Nurse at the Battle of Lopera in Editorial Red Circle. This book tells the story of a nurse during the Battle of Lopera (1936), during the Spanish Civil War.

In 2019 he published the novel "Republic of Jaén 1931", edited by the Red Circle Editorial, and that collects the unique story of the journeyman Andrés Martos, who will fully live the entry into the Second Spanish Republic (1931-1936). This book mixes fiction with historical data, a great ingredient for history lovers.
