Antonio Nediani

Antonio Nediani (* 1921 in Faenza ) is a former Italian actor , documentary filmmaker , playwright and screenwriter .

Life

Nediani played a number of actor roles in the late 1940s and early 1950s; then he turned to documentary and television directing. In 1953 the full-length documentary Gran Comora was shown in Italian cinemas. As a screenwriter he then worked for Italian television; his works include Il paese delle donne , Il fucile di Papa della Genga and La vedova Fioravanti . In 1979 he turned Giorgio Scerbanenco's Quasi due metri into a television film. As a playwright, he wrote works such as Candina , Estate , Il giono con la notte , Il gelo sue denti and Il terramoto .

His library is part of the "Biblioteca Teatrale".
