Antonio Tomás González (born January 19, 1985 in Torrelavega ) is a Spanish football player who plays in the Segunda División B for Racing Santander .
Player career
The Cantabrian Antonio Tomás comes from the youth of Racing Santander . From 2003 to 2005 he also played for Racing B for two years. He was then appointed to the first team. In his first season he already made numerous appearances. He was then sold to the Galicians in a costly exchange of players with the Galician league rivals Deportivo La Coruña and immediately afterwards loaned out for the 2006/07 season. In all 20 league games in which Antonio Tomás played for Racing this season, he was on the field from the start.
Antonio Tomás has been exclusively for Deportivo since summer 2007, but did not get beyond his reserve role in the first half of the 2007/08 season. In the following years he sometimes came to regular assignments, but was never really able to assert himself. His expiring contract was not extended in the summer of 2011.
It wasn't until September 2011 that he found a new employer, so he hired the first division club Real Saragossa and signed a contract there until the end of the 2011/12 season . In the winter, before his contract expired, he joined CSKA Sofia , but stayed there for only a few months and finally signed a new contract with CD Numancia in November 2012 .
