Antonio Vagnozzi (* 1950 ) is an Italian amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer.
He uses the Santa Lucia Stroncone Observatory for his observations . Between 1993 and 1999 he discovered a total of 45 asteroids . In addition to his work on asteroids, he has devoted himself to the systematic search for supernovae in recent years and is the co-discoverer of the supernova SN 1996ae .
The asteroid (7529) Vagnozzi was named after him.
