Antonius (Antons) Mill

Antoniusmühle , also called Antonsmühle , is a residential area in the Freudenberg district of Wessental in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

geography

The Antoniusmühle is located about 1.5 kilometers north of Wessental in the Wildbachtal , a left tributary of the Main . About 300 meters south of the Antoniusmühle is the Blankenmühle and about 300 meters north of the Sägmühlen .

history

On May 17, 1931, a flood disaster occurred in the Wildbachtal, with several mills damaged, especially the Antonius mill. Emergency and repair work followed by 1935.

The Antoniusmühle residential area came to the city of Freudenberg on January 1, 1972 as part of the formerly independent municipality of Wessental.
