Antsalova is one of five districts in the Melaky region in western Madagascar .

The district has an area of ​​7,195 km². In the north the district borders on Maintirano (district) , in the northeast on Morafenobe (district) , in the east on Miandrivazo (district) and in the south on Belo sur Tsiribihina (district) . The west of Antsalova is on the Mozambique Strait . In 2001 about 30,000 people lived in this district. They belong to the Sakalava people . The main town is Antsalova .
