To the west of Anzac Bay is the mouth of Okahuti Creek and the Ostend settlement . Tawaipareira Creek flows into the bay and Okoka Bay joins at the southern end of Anzac Bay .

Anzac Bay was named after the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps , an army corps of the armed forces of the British Empire during World War I , which consisted mainly of Australians and New Zealanders.
