The Anzeiger vom Rottal is an independent weekly newspaper in the Rottal in the Swiss canton of Lucerne and reports on the towns of Hellbühl , Ruswil , Sigigen , Buttisholz , Grosswangen and Werthenstein .

The newspaper was founded in 1905 under the name Anzeiger für Ruswil , was soon renamed Generalanzeiger for the Canton of Lucerne and has been called Anzeiger vom Rottal since 1914 . It belongs to the Meyer Rottal Druck AG company.

The newspaper appears on Thursdays and has a WEMF - certified circulation of 3,263 (previous year 3,284) sold / distributed copies.
