Blue Blink ( jap. 青いブリンク , Aoi Burinku ., Dt "Blue Blink") is an anime - television series in 1989 under the direction and on an idea by Osamu Tezuka was produced.
content
The boy Kakeru saves the blue pony Blink, who got into trouble in a heavy storm. Amazingly, the pony can speak and promises to rush to Kakeru's aid if he calls. When Kakeru returns home after the vacation, his father has been kidnapped. With the help of Blink he is now looking for his father.
Production and publication
The series was produced in 1989 by Tezuka Productions under the direction of Osamu Tezuka and Seitarō Hara . The concept comes from Osamu Tezuka, who also designed the character design together with Kazuhiko Utagawa. Kazuo Okada was the artistic director. The anime was first broadcast from April 7, 1989 to March 16, 1990 at NHK.
An English version was broadcast as Blue Blink in Hawaii, Telecinco broadcast the anime in Spain, and RaiDue in Italy. There are also translations into French, Arabic and Tagalog.

The music for the series was composed by Hiroaki Serizawa . The opening title is Hitomi no Naka no Mirai ( 瞳 の 中 の 未来 ) by Yoko Minamino, the closing song Makenaide Yūki ( 負 け な い で 勇 気 ) is by Shinobu Nakayama.
