The Apollo Theater in London opened in February 1901 near Piccadilly Circus in the West End theater district in the City of Westminster . It offers space for 775 spectators on four levels. Building history
The building was constructed by the architect Lewin Sharp for the first owner, Henry Lowenfeld.
Accident in December 2013
On December 19, 2013, during a performance of the play The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Simon Stephens based on the novel by Mark Haddon , part of a stucco ceiling collapsed and injured around 80 people 7 difficult.
