Die Apologetic Blätter: Mitteilungen des Apologetic Institute of the Swiss Catholic People's Association were a Swiss Jesuit magazine devoted to the scientific justification of Catholic doctrines .

The Apologetic Papers were published twice a month from 1937 to 1946 by the Swiss Catholic People's Association in Zurich . Until 1944 they were published as an “internal information service for employees of the Catholic press”; in October 1944 the magazine was published for the first time in print . Initially, in 1937 and 1938, they appeared under changing titles: Switzerland. Anti-Marxist message service , Swiss message service about Marxism and message service of the Apologetic Institute of the Swiss. Catholic People's Association .

They aimed “at readers who were rooted in the Catholic milieu and who had participated in the reform movements within the Church since the 1940s , and at an audience who, for professional reasons, was interested in theological, philosophical and social issues”.

At the beginning of the 11th year in 1947 it was named Orientation .
