The Appisberg Association is a non-profit, non-profit organization managed as an association with its headquarters in Männedorf , Canton of Zurich . At the beginning of 1932, the Swiss doctor Ernst Bachmann founded the Appisberg health clinic for the treatment of tuberculosis (aftercare).

Today, the Appisberg association is a competence center for professional integration, which has been carrying out practical professional assessments and training for physically and mentally handicapped people since 1965 on behalf of the disability insurance . In the current form of orientation, Appisberg has been providing practical training on behalf of the disability insurance company since 1965.
