Appius Claudius Pulcher (* before 250 BC; † 211 BC ) was a politician of the Roman Republic .

Claudius Pulcher was active in the Second Punic War and held the praetur in 215 . He was in the year 214 BC. Governor of Sicily and commanded together with Marcus Claudius Marcellus in the year 213 BC. BC, when the Carthaginians landed there, an expedition to this island. Appius Claudius Pulcher was born in 212 BC. Chr. Consul and besieged Capua , during the Second Battle of Capua was taken. Claudius Pulcher died as proconsul after the fall of the city in 211 BC. He had a son named Publius Claudius Pulcher .
