AppleTalk Data Stream Protocol

AppleTalk Data Stream Protocol (ADSP) is a term used in computer science .

The AppleTalk Data Stream Protocol , or ADSP for short, is a symmetrical, connection-oriented protocol in an AppleTalk network, via which two computers can establish a virtual data connection and communicate in both directions.

It is defined in RFC 1742 .

The protocol belongs to the session layer .
